Functions of catering:

 -planning, operations, organizing the event, equipment, implementing, controlling, understanding inssurance and legal issues.

 Weaknesses that may prevent a caterer from success:
 there's a lot of  weaknesses but i wrote 5:
 
-labor difficulties
-poor communication skill
-lackof attention to details
-failure to solve problems
-excessive payroll
  

4 segment of catering management:
-military segment
-commercial segment
-non-commercial segment
-private/caterers

2 main types of  catering:
-on-prmise
-off-premise
